Studio · False Creek Flats

A robotics-autonomy desk where floor data earns a sign-off.

Smart Robo AI Inc. operates from 150 East 5th Avenue, Suite 110, in Vancouver's False Creek Flats maker corridor — warehouse pilots, film-stage automation shops and sensor startups sharing loading bays with fabricators. We are a Canadian engineering studio focused on AI in robotics, not a consumer robot shop, not a wellness brand, not a financial robo-advisor, and not an online course.

Field Log · SR-ABT-01

Why this corridor, why this studio.

The False Creek Flats sit between industrial legacy and new build — rail spurs, concrete batch plants and maker spaces within walking distance of our suite. Clients arrive when a pilot looked fine in the vendor demo and frayed on the second shift, when SLAM drift followed a single aisle repaint, or when a safety officer asked for documentation the integrator never produced. Our job is to make uncertainty visible: plot telemetry per shift, replay policies in simulation seeded with floor captures, and write findings logs that survive a production handoff.

Smart Robo AI designs and delivers neural perception models, reinforcement-learning control policies, digital-twin simulation, fleet analytics views and human-robot interaction guardrails — always with senior engineers in the loop. We work with manufacturers, logistics operators, robotics OEMs and automation integrators across Canada and into the United States when travel and data-sharing agreements allow. BN 671230584 RC0001.

RUN · SR-ABT-02 · OPERATING POSTURE

Sense. Plan. Act. Verify — logged on every engagement.

Four stages structure how we work. Perception and sensor fusion feed scene understanding; motion and path planning produce trajectories; control systems act through ROS integration and PLC hooks; sim-to-real validation and functional-safety review close the loop before anything moves on a live floor. We do not ship unsupervised autonomy. We do not build weapons or surveillance systems. We do not promise zero incidents, perfect uptime or guaranteed business outcomes — autonomy stacks fail in ways that matter, and our documentation says so plainly.

01

Measured discovery

Autonomy reviews, data audits and feasibility maps with CAD bands — not slide decks without floor contact.

02

Iterative build

Models and policies trained against your geometry, lighting and SKU reality — not generic benchmarks alone.

03

Floor verification

Edge-case sessions with shift leads, rollback plans and explicit confidence ranges on release candidates.

04

Production handoff

Integration notes, responsible-AI artefacts and retainer options for ongoing model QA where needed.

People & practice

Engineers who have stood on your aisle, not just your Zoom.

Our team combines robotics research backgrounds with integrator and operator experience — people who have debugged grasp failures at 02:00 and written safety briefings for Monday stand-ups. Engagements are staffed with named leads; we do not subcontract client-facing work to anonymous offshore benches without disclosure. When site visits are required, we travel to Canadian facilities under mutual NDAs and follow your PPE and access protocols.

The .life domain is branding for a professional services firm — it does not signal wellness products, life coaching, or lifestyle robotics gadgets. If you expected a toy shop or a bootcamp syllabus, you are in the wrong studio. If you need autonomy engineering with honest uncertainty documentation, request an autonomy review and we will respond with scope and timeline after a short discovery call.

Many autonomy reviews begin with telemetry export and a video walk-through — on-site sessions are scheduled when floor access changes the findings.
